BioFlora® Perks Up the Plants at SummerWinds Garden Centers
Employees at high-end garden and nursery retailer see distinct difference after BioFlora product application.
PHOENIX, AZ (August, 2016) – SummerWinds nursery locations in Arizona began carrying BioFlora’s lawn and garden line of sustainable and organic plant and soil nutrients last spring. Employee Andrew Easton was familiar with products but hadn’t had the opportunity to see them in action. So when he and his coworkers at the Bethany Home Road location in Phoenix began using the products on the plants at the garden center, they were surprised by the immediate effects they observed.
“When we used Seaweed Creme® as a foliar spray and as a soil drench at the same time, we saw that 90 percent of the plants had perked up within half an hour of receiving that treatment; it was actually visible,” said Easton. “We’ve also put the Seaweed Creme on our vegetables, and they really seem to like that.”
The staff members at SummerWinds have also been applying Seaweed Creme, Dry Crumbles® and Plantalizer® to help their plants and trees. “We’ve seen some good results with them and with our houseplants,” said Easton. “The Dry Crumbles in particular are a substantial nutrient source for the plants, so when we put those down we start to see a significant difference in the plants within two weeks and sometimes within a week.”
“They are definitely working and I am definitely happy with the results,” he said.
SummerWinds customers who are already familiar with BioFlora products were delighted that their garden center is now carrying them on a regular basis. “The customers who switch and give it a shot are very pleased with it,” Easton added. “They are excited about the natural components of it and about it being produced locally and sustainably.”

Plantalizer 1-2-1; A sustainable fertilizer that gives a quick boost to plants with a blend of nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium. Plantalizer also contains seaweed and humic acid, which helps improve the soil’s tilth and water retention for long-term nourishment.[4]
SummerWinds employees have been seeing good results when using BioFlora products on an as-needed basis during the hot summer months. But Easton is looking forward to seeing the difference in the plants as the weather gets cooler. “When fall rolls around and we’re able to fertilize on a regular basis, I fully expected to be wowed by the results,” said Easton.
